Objectives

The Bachelor Programme “Economic Informatics”aims to provide students for dual knowledge in economics and IT, allowing a fast insertion on the labour market in both areas.

Competences

  • assessment and modelling of economic phenomena and processes
  • analysis and development of  information systems
  • development of software applications that use databases, multimedia resources and client-server/web service architectures
  • knowledge, understanding and application of concepts, methods, techniques specific to information systems and programming languages
  • identification of resources and performances of computers, operating systems and Internet
  • development of software components using adequate data structures, algorithms, programming techniques, languages and environments
  • ability to develop, use and assess software applications for various business areas at micro and macroeconomic level
