Presentation of Master ECONOMICS AND EUROPEAN BUSINESS

Objectives

The master’s programme ECONOMICS AND EUROPEAN BUSINESS is addressed to graduates who want to specialise in the field of project development, implementation, and management; financing and management of European funds. It also aims at training qualified specialists to work for management authorities, bodies and other institutions involved in the process of financing European projects

Competences

The main competences acquired are those specific to the PROJECT MANAGER and PROJECT EVALUATOR, but also consider elements such as:

the ability to investigate and analyse European business policies by means of specific research methods, ways and means of action to implement them, and business strategies implemented at European level;

developing strategies regarding future developments both at European macroeconomic level, but also and at the business level;

Creating the professional skills needed to coordinate teams that perform activities specific to the process of developing, implementing and managing projects funded by European funds, filling managerial positions at different hierarchical levels within firms, as well as conducting studies on external markets, developing and implementing specific measures to adapt the economy and the internal market to the requirements of the international business environment.

Perspectives

The ability to fill positions in departments that perform activities specific to international economic relations and to advise interest groups on economic and business issues.
