Objectives

The specialization Economics and International Business aims at educating highly qualified specialists, by means of transferring scientific knowledge, abilities and skills at the level of European and international performance, in line with the international labour market requirements who will benefit from greater mobility in doing their profession, both in the country and abroad. The structure of the curriculum aims at developing future specialists’ skills in order to solve economic problems, make decisions while using critical thinking, analysis and synthesis, as well as their knowledge and interpretation skills of the international business environment and its impact on the Romanian economy. The study programme is run both in Romanian and English.

Competences

The main competencies acquired through the curriculum of the programme can be synthesized as follows:

  • Carrying out studies/ analyses regarding the business environment;
  • Assistance for the preparation and conduct of negotiations in international business;
  • Carrying out international business according to the contractual clauses;
  • Assistance in carrying out activities specific to international promotion;
  • Assistance in promoting actions/ initiatives within international economic organizations.

Perspectives

The graduates of the specialization have the opportunity to fill positions in departments that carry out activities specific to the international economic relations, as well as other economic departments, according to the law.
